NO, absolutely not. This is a service provided for those who want to use it. For everyone else, Sunday Offertory Envelopes will still be provided.
Monsignor Easton encourages you to look into this service. Read over the information and visit their website. He is going to personally use it for his own contributions.
While you are considering it, please consider your level of support to the parish.
It has been nine years since the parish has asked for an increase in offertory contributions.
In those 9 years costs have increased considerably. Many people are talking about
their increased heating bills. It hits the parish as well. Even though the parish
is saving money because the Conference Center is considerably cheaper to heat than
the old convent was, bills have still increased a whopping 43%. Health benefits for
employees and many other costs have also increased dramatically. Please consider
increasing your support for the parish as well. If we all do our part, we can do
great things together.
