CAREGIVER COMPANIONS

Caregiver Companions sometime volunteer their services for parishioners needing Respite Care when fulltime caregivers need to be away from their loved one for a few hours. They provide caring companionship, but not nursing care. Sometimes, they provide rides for medical treatments. The Caregiver Short List contains the names of parishioners and others who are experienced and available to provide non-nursing care for a homebound person. These services are usually done with some financial remuneration. The Christian Service Coordinator receives requests and makes necessary information available, as requested, but does not promote/endorse. Contact: Susan Saccaro 248-541-4122, ex 411;
