Fr. John McKenzie is to be appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Christ the King Parish, Detroit; St. Charles Lwanga Parish, Detroit; St. Moses the Black Parish, Detroit; St. Peter Claver Parish, Detroit; St. Suzanne/Our Lady Gate of Heaven Parish, Detroit; that form Trinity Vicariate Family 2, effective July 1, 2022. Fr. McKenzie will serve primarily at Christ the King Parish “and school."

The Archdiocese of Detroit has appointed Monsignor Patrick Halfpenny as Temporary Administrator of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica effective today, Friday, February 25, 2022. Monsignor Halfpenny will continue his responsibilities serving as Director for Priestly Mission in the Office for Clergy and Consecrated Life.
